Personalized executive function support that turns daily struggles into sustainable habits, available virtually and in person.
Whether you’re a parent supporting a student with ADHD, a teen trying to keep up with school, or a college student managing life on your own—executive function challenges can make everyday responsibilities feel harder than they should.
And the usual advice? It rarely sticks.
At Carolina ADHD Coaching, we specialize in helping students understand how their brain works, and what tools actually help them focus, follow through, and feel capable again.
Our coaches don’t just give reminders. We build strategies together based on how they think, not just how we wish they would.
Personalized support that works—offered in-person or fully online.

Each week, your student meets 1:1 with their dedicated coach to set goals, troubleshoot challenges, and build systems that work. From planning for a test to organizing their room—we get things done together.

Sometimes the magic happens between sessions. Students receive quick, personalized nudges to help them start homework, prep for the day, or follow through on goals—without nagging.

Through secure messaging apps, students can reach out with questions, wins, or stress moments. It’s like having a calm, supportive coach in their back pocket whenever they need help resetting or refocusing.

Most of our coaching sessions follow our FIRE UP Framework™—a consistent but flexible structure that helps students build momentum, executive function skills, and self-trust over time.
Start with presence. We check in on their state. What were the highs and lows of the past week? This sets the tone and builds trust.
What worked? What stalled? We explore patterns and surface any executive function challenges like task initiation or time management.
Here, we introduce (or revisit) executive function strategies and mindset shifts that can unblock stuck points. We treat struggles as data—not failure—to refine their approach moving forward.
We look ahead at upcoming priorities. What matters most? What feels heavy? Together, we break large goals into small wins and map out a realistic path forward.
Where can coaching support make a difference between sessions? We explore what’s needed—reminders, tools, check-ins, or just knowing someone’s in their corner.
We don’t just talk—we do. Most sessions end with a short body doubling segment: co-working, co-starting, or co-planning. This real-time activation taps into proven strategies for task initiation and builds confidence through momentum
We draw from a wide range of tools and strategies—but always focus on what works best for each person, and adjust as their needs grow and change.
It depends on their goals and level of support needed. Most students experience meaningful improvements within the first few months—like better habits, clearer routines, and less stress.
For long-term results, a 3–6 month commitment helps solidify those skills and apply them consistently.
The real key? Consistency + practice. Weekly sessions and regular check-ins create steady progress.
We combine research-backed executive function coaching with our signature FireUp Framework™—a step-by-step system designed to help students focus, follow through, and feel more in control of their day.
We also use a curated library of tools, planners, and trackers to support habit-building, and academic success.
Every plan is customized, because no two students (or brains) are exactly alike.
At this time, we do not accept insurance. ADHD and executive function coaching is considered a non-medical, educational service, so it is not typically covered by insurance plans.
That said, some families have shared that they’ve explored alternative payment or reimbursement options depending on their plan and state. You can learn more about commonly asked options here: https://carolinaadhdcoaching.com/payment-options/
Our coaching includes:
Weekly 1:1 sessions (typically 50 minutes)

In addition, we support graduate students and adults during high-pressure transition periods, such as master’s programs, PhDs, and starting a career.
Our clients come from all types of educational settings—public, private, homeschool, hybrid, university, and online programs
Most families pay out of pocket. Some families have shared that they were able to use 529 funds, or in rarer cases HSA or FSA funds, depending on their individual plan, provider, and state rules.
We’re happy to provide clear receipts or invoices when requested, but eligibility varies widely and must always be confirmed with your CPA, plan administrator, insurance provider, and state guidelines. Coaching is not a medical or therapeutic service.
